Corporate Applications

Each company represents a history in itself, characterized by a specific operational reality, by a precise positioning in its business and expertise strategic area, by its particular improvement objectives. No ready-made service package and no standardized approach can take account of all this. For us, on the contrary, this is essential.

Working on the Information Systems of a company is a delicate task. It means having a clear understanding of the context within which you operate and of the goals you set yourself, designing solutions that can seamlessly be integrated with the existing infrastructures, from the logical, functional and technological point of view. Sogetel designs and develops specific applications intended for the corporate market, inside an existing Information System or systems capable of automating a whole business process or procedure. For the design and implementation we have recourse to our collaborators’ skills and to the solid expertise background we are guaranteed by strategic links with vendors of established and innovative solutions.

Where we can intervene

  • Applications of Enterprise Content Management and Knowledge Management
  • Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Systems
  • Workflow management and procedures automation

Our approach

As regards the development, implementation and integrated management of the systems, Sogetel has developed over time a set of rules and practices aimed at guiding the work:

  • Modularity, both in the analysis and planning phases – in order to guarantee the compatibility with the existing one – and in the development phase.
  • Scalability and Quality of performance, guaranteed by a correct design of the architectural features.
  • Robustness, which allows the components of the server and the application logics to be reconfigured, added or removed without any interruptions in the supply of services to users, ensuring high system availability.
  • Safety, an essential aspect – taken into account with special care during the designing and implementation phase – given the sensitivity and confidentiality of the corporate data.
  • Change management, ensuring the simultaneous proper functioning of the new system and of the already existing ones (Integration Test) and adequate training of the staff to both the functional and processing novelties introduced by the new system.
