OmniaLink is a software platform for the integration of the traditional means of communication (voice, fax, SMS, E-mail) and of the different networks available today (Internet, GSM/GPRS/UMTS/HSDPA, Wi-Fi, ISDN, PSTN) which allows transmitting information by transforming it into any format (voice, sound, text, picture) for any channel.

OmniaLink is a multiplatform software system offering different interfaces (Web, WAP, E-mail, SMS, voice) to the different user terminals (fixed and mobile phones, laptops, PDAs) to access the services.

These features allow designing solutions that reduce the cost of the commonest operations and offer new business opportunities.

Case Study

The OmniaLink platform is installed at the server farm of “Poste Italiane” for the implementation of an “in-house” service The objective is an improvement of communication and a more efficient staff management given by a single system, able to send messages of different types (fax, E-mail, voicemails, SMS). In particular, the configuration of the service allows the remote calendar and address book functions with access via SMS, E-mail, voice and the automatic pager function, with the possibility to search different addresses and means of communication, becoming an internal instrument for management, contact and interaction with the staff in order to organise meetings, track and send documents. A simple Web interface allows organizing the contacts into lists and groups which make it possible to target communications, including the possibility to decide the different means of sending (voice, SMS, fax, E-mail) and monitor in real time the delivery status of the message.
