Project title: SECUREMED – Enhancement of security and GDPR compliance for the ICSC cloud platform

SECUREMED – advanced solutions to ensure medical information security and GDPR compliance.

The aim of the project is to identify optimal tools and practices to improve security and ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the context of complex data processing and management systems related to medicine in silico and experiments in the field of omics sciences (genomics, lipidomics, transcriptomics, etc.).

The main objectives of this intervention include:

  • Defining the minimum security requirements necessary to effectively protect sensitive data.
  • Conducting a detailed analysis of the current state of existing systems, identifying vulnerabilities and potential areas for improvement.
  • Developing comprehensive guidelines outlining recommended approaches and technologies to ensure data security and regulatory compliance.

  • Implementation of demonstrative Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to test and validate the effectiveness of proposed solutions in real-world contexts.

 

These objectives converge towards a single goal: to ensure a secure and compliant IT environment, while providing practical tools and resources to effectively implement security measures and data protection.
