Our company is proud to actively participate in the innovative SmartMe&Youproject, promoted by Sapienza Università di Roma, which will be presented at the sixth edition of the WELFAIR – The healthcare making event (4-7 November 2025, at the Fiera di Roma).
In this context, Sogetel plays a key role in the technological development of the platform, confirming its commitment to digital innovation applied to healthcare and people’s well-being.
The SmartMe&You project
The SmartMe&You service is designed for the remote monitoring of dementia risk factors in people over 60.
The platform remotely monitors indicators such as:
- sedentary lifestyle
- heart rate variability
- quality of nighttime sleep
- fluctuations in cognitive performance (measured using serious video games on tablets)
Thanks to integrated digital technologies, the system aims to support prevention and offer support in personalized medicine.
Sogetel’s Contribution
Within the consortium tasked with developing SmartMe&You (which also includes Consorzio GARR, Sentech Srl, IRCCS San Raffaele Roma and Università La Sapienza) Sogetel was specifically responsible for:
- designing and developing the digital component of the platform, incorporating its expertise in the Internet of Things, remote diagnostics, and data analysis;
- integration between sensors, mobile devices (tablets), and the central data collection/analysis system;
- ensuring the scalability, robustness, and interoperability of the platform in a sensitive healthcare context such as services dedicated to the over-60s;
- collaboration with research partners and healthcare institutions to translate laboratory results into a service that can be used on a large scale.
In this way, Sogetel confirms its ability to operate in highly innovative fields, emerging as a reliable technology partner capable of supporting complex and sensitive infrastructures such as those related to digital health.

What will happen at the WELFAIR trade fair
From November 4 to 7, 2025, WELFAIR will take place at the Fiera di Roma trade fair center, with the theme “The balance of healthcare. Innovation: from cost drivers to tools for sustainability.”
Sogetel will be present alongside the other partners of the SmartMe&You project, and we will demonstrate our technologies in action: from data collection to the diagnostic-predictive system, to the user interface that allows for simple, everyday use of the service.
